Rating 3.00 out of 5

This video is actually a double whammy. First off, the Samsung invite to leave a comment, to get your hands on a free Samsung vibrant. Next up, there is an interactive click and go youtube video. With Tim from the future, that has a thingy…

Channel Y

Rating 3.00 out of 5

Amazing site to listen to tracks one.  Amazing videos, amazing songs. Hours of fun ahead…no more need to search the tube or vimeo for the golden music video, the yChannel does it for you.

yesyesyall.org

From yesyesyall:

You know, it started as us just talking. We had the music in common. It became a glue that we looked forward to daily talking about. We felt a need to share these conversations with more people and out of that spawned YYY. For us, by us, and everyone else.

We established yesyesyall with an intent to promote and push the artist first and foremost. We want to help support them and you in the best way possible and if anything try to help artists and listeners in these times of change. Think of MTV on a TV and you have YYY in an atmosphere.

Positivity first and foremost. It’s in the name. Yes, for us, don’t stop. Our intent is for this to be a testament to those who push the limits of perception. To be a source of inspiration and creativity. To build a community one click, nod, dap, ass shake at a time.

Web Evolution Nova Spivack Twine

View more presentations from Nova Spivack.
Interesting slideshow envisioning one way in which the web the web will evolve. Though it is very data centric, a word or two about platforms might be in place. What I do like though is that according to this we are already in the 3.0 era, something I would tend to agree with…

meet the diaspora

Rating 4.00 out of 5

thank-you-diaspora

When living in the real world, we don’t pass our messages to a central hub, which in turn hands it on to our friends. Our social media interaction should work the same way. This is where Diaspora comes in. Diaspora promises to become an open source alternative to Facebook, respecting user privacy. And, more importantly the team has managed to gather some momentum over on kickstarter.com, where they have collected over 100k to work on their concept.

Staring Battle Banner

A banner ad in which you can engage in a “staring battle” with NFL running back, Adrian Peterson. Great use of webcam and image analysis.

Photoshop CS5 Preview

Rating 3.00 out of 5

A little sneak preview for the new (and very much improved) Photoshop. And it could save trees too!

One of the biggest requests we get of Photoshop is to make adding, removing, moving or repairing items faster and more seamless. From retouching to completely reimagining an image, heres an early glimpse of what could happen in the future when you press the delete key. How might you use this new capability in your workflow?
