Decided not to embed the video directly here, as the this video definitely needs to be seen on the site itself…
Last year District9 did it, in 2008 Batman Returns did it with their I believe in Harvey Dent campaign.
Now The Crazies are doing it. Though the site’s could maybe be considered a bit more low-key, the movie has created multiple small sites surrounding the core elements and players in their movie. I am really liking this 2.0 style of promoting movies.
The sites in question are:
-> Ogden Marsh Chamber of commerce
-> Dakon/Pendrill Chemical corporation (if anyone figures out the login please let me know)
-> Ogden Marsh Gazette Blog(spot) enriched with more links and videos and the obvious Twitter Feed
-> The Ogden Marsh Sheriff’s department (again with the login)
-> And finally the movies site itself off course.
Come to think of it, Photoshop is barely out of it’s teens. So there must be great things ahead…I remember starting my self way back when Photoshop was at version 4.Flash Catalyst integration that is coming up really exites me for future releases.
I really like this presentation. Just find the “We really like to think of everything” kind of pretentious, but hey, that’s Microsoft.
