I just stumbled upon this very touching website by photographer Phillip Toledano. The photos are beautiful and the comments are moving. It’s a record of his relationship with his 97 year old father after the death of his mother.

Wow! makes me think of those MTV animations (in Europe anyways) in the early nineties. Anyone remember those? Trying to find them, but cannot remember the name of the artist, nor do my keywords turn up anything useful on gagoggle…

Video I stumbled across over on Der Spiegel

Artists perform one song in the back of a London cab. The artist selection is amazing (Elvis Perkins, Fleet Foxes, The National, My Morning Jacket to name a few). The resulting performances are very stripped down but quite interesting.

This video, created by Zoo Films director James Frost, was made entirely without lights or cameras. The images are a visualization of 3d information collected during the “filming”.
